About OK Charlie
Hi 👋 We’re OK Charlie
We’re a 4-piece band that blends indie-rock, pop-rock, and art-rock.
We like new sounds, adventurous harmonies, and interesting song concepts.
Our first single was released April 1st 2024 and featured on CJZN The Zone, as well as CBC Radio. Following single releases were also greeted with enthusiasm and featured on playlists and radio stations across North America and Europe.
Our full debut album will be dropping in March 2025.

Mitchell Hahn
Mitch Hahn is the main songwriter, singer, and manager behind OK Charlie.
Part mad scientist, part obsessive craftsman, he’s the kind of music nerd who charts every Beatles song and builds intricate databases to discover melodic patterns.
Influenced by philosophy, mythology, and classical rhetoric, Mitch’s songwriting brings a timeless, archetypal simplicity to the band’s music. After making his mark on the music industry, he plans to buy an array of tweed jackets and settle down as a songwriting professor.
Dustin Barden
Powerful physique, bellowing voice, and tireless energy; Dustin Barden is a hurricane. This ultramarathoner, health nut, and absurdly versatile musician is the Swiss Army Knife of the group. When asked how many instruments he can play, his response was “at the same time, or total?”
Often accused of being born with musicality, his musical journey actually started in the church. To this day he is still drawn to soulful and emotionally evocative music. The church elders probably wouldn’t laugh at his twisted sense of humour, but under all the deranged jokes is a true heart of gold.
Louis Rudner
How many people do you know that have played bass for President Obama, opened for Earth Wind and Fire, and studied under legends like Victor Wooten and Rodney Whitaker? Louis Rudner is a true jazz master. If music was a martial art, he would have a black belt.
Sure, he can just play root notes if that’s what you want, or he can play 32nd-note octotonic scales, then switch to stand-up bass to bow you a Bach suite. Music is not a hobby to this man, it is a sacred religion. You’d think that would make him pretentious, but he is also the most kind and down-to-earth guy around. Is he nice because he grew up in Michigan? Or did Obama give him secret charisma lessons? So far no one knows.
Graham Stark
Graham is never late, nor is he early. He drums precisely when he means to. 🧙
Graham Stark is the Rolex of drummers; precisely on time, every time. He is the band’s foundation and it’s rock. If the movie Whiplash were about him, it would have been a very relaxing movie. His vocal harmonies are sublime, and his production skills are superb.
Graham also works as a producer for other local bands and teaches drum workshops. He also has a passion for the culinary arts and is a fantastic cook. In fact, I heard his timing is so good, he doesn’t even use the oven timer.
